Posted: 24 Feb 2012 02:04 AM PST

SteelSeries Multi-Device Flux Headset

The Flux Headset is another headset from SteelSeries that was introduced by the company during CES 2012 in Las Vegas last month, along with the illuminated Siberia v2 Frost Blue. The Flux is unique with its ability to “daisy chain”, what does it mean? The headset can share the stream with other Flux headset by plugging-in it into the available input jacks. The Flux has 2 jacks: one on the left side, and another on the right side. So users have an extra input jack while they’re plugging the microphone into the left or right side jack. The multi-used headset also packed with cable connections for an in-line, uni-directional microphone with mute controls that connect to PC as well as a connector with a single 3.5mm jack for Mac and mobile devices.

Designed with comfortably in mind, the travel-friendly Flux headset features new, on-ear mesh cloth cushions that pump out impressive sound levels via its 40mm driver units. Suitable for gaming, listening music, or making calls, the headset earcups to fold inward when wearing it around the neck, and collapse at the earcup hangers for quick and compact storage.

Expected to be available on Q2 with pricing to be announced, the SteelSeries Flux Headset is also customizable. Users will have an option to order various outer plates with different colors and designs as well as various colored cushions. That’s cool! Are you feeling lucky? Top 3 MMO RPGs for Android

Posted: 21 Feb 2012 12:56 AM PST

Many gamers like to play not only on their PCs or other gaming platforms, but on their phones, too. For a long time I thought that there are no "serious" games for phones other than puzzles and those annoying Angry Birds, but a couple of days ago I found out that there are games in one of my most favorite genres, MMO RPG, too!

Of course, not all phones are powerful enough to run some of the games we're going to discuss below, but a simple phone comparison can help you find out if your phone is good enough or if it's the right time to buy a new one.

Anyway, here are the best 3 MMO RPGs I managed to find during these days. The first two will run on almost any phone while for the third you'll need a more powerful device.

Star Legends android app

3. Star Legends

Many developers tried to bring the MMO RPGs created for the PC to Android phones, and well, that wasn't quite a good idea. After all, a phone isn't a PC, and playing the same game on both devices can be rather… tricky. Anyway, Spacetime Studios made a cleverer thing and created a MMO role-playing game especially for mobile phones – Star Legends.

This game is very simple, and this is an advantage and a shortcoming at the same time (you can't really customize your character, and it's bad for many RPG fans). But anyway, the game will offer you an interesting atmosphere, a big choice of armor and weapons and millions of other gamers to play and communicate with.

You can download it for free from Android Market and play it on any device running Android 2.0 or higher. By the way, Star Legends is especially optimized for Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play.

pocket legend

2. Pocket Legends

Pocket Legends is actually developed by the same Spacetime Studios that created the Star Legends we discussed earlier. It offers you a big multiplayer world with many dungeons, monsters, nice gear and other players, so it's quite a nice choice if you want to kill several hours. However, don't expect anything special from this game, since most dungeons, monsters and even characters look similar, so you won't be able to play it for a really long time – you'll get bored very soon.

Pocket Legends is available for free for all Android devices with the system version 2.0 and higher.

1. Order & Chaos Online

If you're an owner of an Android phone with system version 2.2 or higher and have $7 to spend for buying a game, you can enjoy one of the best MMO RPGs for mobile phones ever – Order & Chaos Online. If you're a MMO RPG fan, you have most likely heard of or played the famous World of Warcraft. Order & Chaos has much in common with WoW, but is simpler and optimized for a phone.

Order & Chaos is one of the most impressive MMO RPGs for smartphones, and it's much deeper and much more interesting than the other two games from my list. You can choose any of the available 4 races (elves, humans, orcs and undead) and customize the gender, the appearance and the abilities of your character. Plus this game is the most beautiful game with the coolest graphics, too (especially if you play it on a phone with a huge screen like the Samsung Galaxy S2 or the Galaxy Note), and everybody says it's worth the money you spend on it.

And while you're thinking if you want it or not, you can enjoy this video:
